rheuben allen alto light freedom power neck brace

Light Freedom/Power Neck Brace.

I used a light version of the Freedom/Power Neck Brace I designed for my professional copper body alto saxophone.
This design removes the large amount of solder from under the neck that is used in the traditional neck brace. This large amount of solder under the traditional neck brace does not allow the neck to vibrate as well as with less solder. This brace is very strong and I think looks cool.

Newly Designed Fork F# & High F# keys.


The high F# key can be reached and operated by any of the first three fingers of the right hand. This allow the saxophonist to choose the proper fingering for the passage at hand.

The Fork F# or Trill F# key can be reached with very little finger movement. This makes the use of the Fork F# a better choice for many hard passages.

Altissimo, Front F or Harmonic Key Design

I designed the altissimo key with the students of the saxophone in mind. It is easy to reach by leaving the first finger of the left hand on the B pearl yet it is far enough away so the student does not bump into or open it by accident.

All of the intermediate alto saxophones come in the Cordura Shaped Light Weight Case.

I designed the alto case with a shaped corner so it would be easy to carry over the shoulder and leave both hand free.

It still has a very large compartment for accessories.
A mouthpiece compartment & a neck compartment.

I designed the neck compartment to go to the bottom of the case so the saxophonist can put the neck in the bell with a neck bag and use the space for reeds etc.
