Now being a creature of habit I have been going to the same places for a long time and have not had much new to add.......
Since I moved to China I have eaten at a lot of good restaurants... I just can not say or write the names. However on a recent trip to Hawaii I ate at several great restaurants and can say the names. Islands... now Islands is not a fancy restaurant but they do have great nachos.... Cheese ... lot of cheese... there is no cheese in China. I really miss cheese.

Since I have moved to China it is hard to put up new restaurants as most of the names are in Chinese....... not only can I not speak Chinese at this time..... I can not read or write it... so I am at a great loss for putting up ne restaurants.... but will ad more when I can.....

Well I did have a lot of great food on my last visit to China. It is just that I can not write Chinese. No can I speak Chinese. So it would be very hard for me to tell you where I have eaten. Just know there is a lot of good food in China.

I had a BBQ ham sandwich and beans. It is not necessarly good for a guy like me to have beans.... but what the hell I live alone. The food was great and the price was right. Just south of Hollywood Blvd on Cahuenga.
Eat in or take out!

While visiting our office in Fremont we had breakfast-lunch at a very nice Mexican joint. The chips were home made with just the right of over kill on the grease. The eggs mixed with sausage very good served with Hash Browns.
*There was also a lot of food.
The Lucky Cafe
1111 21st Street
Sacramento, Ca 95814
916-442-9620
This is the place all big breakfast lovers must eat. I had three eggs (and I think they were from an giant eagle), about a half pound of hashbrowns, english muffin and I could barely walk when I left. Not only was there a lot of food......but .......it was good!
Now this may be the only reason to go to Sacramento..... but again ...... if you find yourself there and want a great breakfast. Go to the Lucky Cafe.

ZONO Sushi
610 North 1st Street
Burbank California
818-557-1268
Zono Sushi is located in the Burbank Mall just off 1st street in Burbank California. The sushi is great and they have many cooked dishes for those of us that have a need for cooked food. They have two specials that are great . Monday to Thursday they have a happy hour from 5 to 7 pm and offer many dishes at an amazing price. California rolls ...one of my favorite foods... are among the affordable dishes. On the week end they have a lunch special the allows you to choose two main items and they come with.... rice, salad and more.
TINO"S Italian Restaurant 818-763-6272
5424 Laurel Canyon Blvd.
Valley Village, CA 91607
(also known as North Hollywood)
My friend Phil Sobel took me and Leo Potts to this little Italian restaurant for dinner one night after working on the Phil Sobel video. It is in the back of a small shopping center and you can not see it from the road. After the first time it is easier to find. The food was great I had the Chicken Alfredo with extra sauce and it was delicious. The people are always very nice and friendly. I fell in love with Nancy who only worked on Saturday nights (even though this was Friday) and was not able to make it back on Saturday for several months. Needless to say she had left the job and I will never see her again. Very sad. Anyway enough about my heart breaks the food is great. I have been back several times and the quality of both the service and food has remained high.
The Good Neighbor Restaurant 818-762-3641
3701 Cahuenga Blvd.
Studio City, CA
The Good Neighbor Restaurant located in Studio City, California. The owners Bette and Rick Nowinski are great people. They always make you feel at home no matter your position in life. I know this to be a fact because they let me in on Sundays. The food is good, the service great and the location across from Universal Studios makes it a place to see your favorite stars and other interesting people.
